Almost perfect
Great stand and the locking mechanism that Hercules uses is super stable and great.
The one negative with this stand is that the head does not rotate very much, unlike their wall hangers with the same mechanism - where the head is able to rotate quite a bit to fit different types of headstocks.
What this means is that when hanging for example a jazz bass on this stand, almost the entire weight is put on one side of the headstock. This is probably not an issue, but for long term use it would feel safer if the entire balance of the instrument was not put on one side of the neck.

Good but little unstable
Holds my guitar without any problems but it is a little wobbly. Quality is good, feels like this can handle being thrown from a balcony. Only negative is the stability, but unless you push the stand it will likely not be an issue.
