Great guitar

Bought this guitar because I didn't have anything with the LP tone, this delivers for a fraction of the price.
First of all, in person it looks even better than in the pictures, it's truly stunning and feels amazing to play. The sound is exactly what I was looking for from this guitar.
The only thing I was worried about slightly was the finish on the neck, turns out I had nothing to worry about and I love it. Will probably become my most played guitar. Really really great

Is this the perfect guitar?

I've always liked a Les Paul shaped guitar. It's a classic shape, comfortable, easy to play and sounds great with humbuckers.
When looking for a new guitar as a treat to myself, I wanted something a little different but classic. When I saw this Harley Benton SC-Custom III Quilt Midnight, I fell in love.
Everything about it is exquisite. The shape, quilt top, subtle curves, binding, the gun metal grey pickups and hardware, stainless steel frets, inlays... I could go on!

For me, it IS the perfect guitar!

It has everything I want and need. Not too heavy or light. The sound is amazing and having the versatility of the coil tap is a great touch.
The frets on mine were slightly sharp but a very easy fix.
It is a stunning guitar, easy to play and the quality for the price you pay is above and beyond.

Harley Benton SC-Custom iii. Quilt Midnight.
I am truly amazed at this guitar. Tuners, finish and setup all flawless. Pickups work great. Frets are perfectly finished and the guitar was intonated right out of the box.
Thank you to all at Thomann. 10/10 and I will be back. 👏👏👏👏

Qualität super, Preis noch besser

Ich hatte bereits vor ein paar Monaten die SC-Custom III FR mit Floyd Rose gekauft und war nun noch auf der Suche nach einem Modell ohne Tremolo.
Meine Wahl fiel auf das Modell in Quilt Midnight mit Wölkchenahorndecke.

Verarbeitung:
Ich konnte bis auf zwei kleine Stellen im Binding keinerlei optische Mängel feststellen.
Die Hardware macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Mechaniken und Potis laufen sauber und leichtgängig.
Ich konnte eine sehr niedrige Saitenlage mit nur minimalem Schnarren einstellen.

Klang:
Die Tesla Tonabnehmer liefern einen mittleren Output und klingen rund und definiert.
Im Splitcoil-Modus klingen sie sehr klar und glasig. Hier sehe ich keinen Bedarf teurere Tonabnehmer einzubauen.

Gesamteindruck:
Die SC-Custom III bietet ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ist qualitativ auf demselben Niveau wie Gitarren anderer Hersteller aus indonesischer Produktion, die zum Teil weit über 1000€ kosten.
Darüberhinaus bekommt man bei Harley Benton Edelstahlbünde und Markentonabnehmer. In dieser Preisklasse ungeschlagen.
