Harley Benton SC-550 II BCF

Bought this really hyped up Guitar that was pretty much advertised as a Les Paul Killer, and I don’t really see it. It plays nice, sound nice and for the price a really affordable guitar. No question there.

But:

1. Tuners crappy, as on all HB. I switched to Kluson and the difference i HUGE. I mean, come on, everyone complaints on the crappy tuners everytime, could we maybe learn something?

2. Frets is stainless, which would be great if they also were sanded so that strings don’t scratch on them while bending.

3. Finish is mostly great, but real sloppy at some parts where the lauquer dripped down and created uneventies.

4. Electronics sound good but he knobs turn like the pot is inserted crooked, it pivots rather than it turns.

One would think that for the version 2 of this guitar, Thomann would ramp it up, but this is perhaps a monday specimen.
