I have them on two, soon to be three, of my guitars. Are they perfect? No, but for the price they are unbeatable. All locking tuners I've tried somewhat affects the sound of the guitar. I don't know exactly what it is, but it could be the greater mass affecting the vibrations of the headstock. But if you like me like to change your strings in a hurry it's a no-brainer. I also like to tinker with my guitars, and if you leave a few mm of the string when cutting it it's very easy to remove and restring when trying out new pickups for example. Tuning stability may improve a bit, at least if you don't know how to properly string the guitar with standard tuners.
