Great practice instrument.

Bought this for practicing in my apartment without disturbing any neighbours and so far I am very pleased. It arrived well packaged and to my surprise, it already had a set of strings. Although i ordered a new set of strings, i tuned up the ones it came with and they've been holding up fine so far with no issues what so ever.
I ordered a cheap set of headphones and when trying them out and they gave a constant buzz in the background which made me worry that the built in amp might be faulty, then i took the time to actually read the manual where it says headphones with balanced input connector are recommended for a clean sound without interference.
I tried with a better headset and there was no buzz what so ever so if you experience buzz, get non-trash headphones.
The only complaint would be the shoulder support which is a vile abomination, it works but that's about it.
You're not getting any world class performance instrument, bow etc. but i'd say the whole package is without a doubt worth what you're paying for it.
All in all, a great practice instrument considering the price.

Terrible quality

2 strings snapped on initial tuning - and done by an experienced violin player.
Pick-up not working at all. Instructions for set up followed exactly but not clear or detailed.
Am returning for refund straightaway. My daughter very disappointed on her birthday

Amazing Electric Violin

Violin is very light weight. Sound is amazing. It has adjustable bass and treble and Volume. It is easy to use. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The more one practice with the Violin the sound will bring out a clear sound. At first it has a very high pitch.
