Great noise gate, not so great distortion

I was curious about those dual effect pedals. I didn't have any noise gate on my pedalboard and wanted to add one. I liked this one as it had a distortion effect too. The noise gate works great - it does what it should. Very easy to use and the pedal itself is very sturdy. I like the look of it.
Now, for the distortion - maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to find a good setting for it. I don't mean it's useless, I'm sure that others, more experienced that me know how to fiddle with controls and make it sound good. It sounds too thin and too saturated for my liking. Anyway, you can't go wrong with that price for essentially two pedals in one.

I bought this distortion not expecting much from it but was very pleasantly surprised with the tone from this HB box. Nice one!

Ich habe das Gerät zum Black Friday für etwas über 30€ gekauft und bin für diesen Preis sehr zufrieden. Ich liebe furztrockene, schneidende Distortion wie z. B. bei verschiedenen Rammstein Songs und diese Kombi aus Zerre und Noisegate liefert mir genau das. Die Verarbeitung ist für den Preis klasse, nur die kleinen Regler wirken ein wenig fitzelig. Ein Nachteil: man kann es nur über Stecker, nicht über einen 9V Block versorgen, aber ich zumindest nutze die eh nicht mehr.

Une chouette première disto

C'est la première pédale que j'achète, je ne voulais pas forcément y consacrer un gros budget et je dois dire que je suis plus que satisfait.
Je joue principalement du metal, sur un Peavey Bandit 112 Transtube. Le son est vraiment bon, bien défini, la pédale est très simple d'utilisation et on trouve rapidement les bons réglages pour sortir du KRKRKRKRKRKR.
L'ensemble a l'air de bonne facture et solide (je joue uniquement à domicile et elle ne devrait pas subir les affres du concert de si tôt)
J'envisage d'en acheter une ou deux autres de la gamme dans les prochains mois pour étoffer un peu ma palette de sons.
