For its price, a good instrument and a great opportunity to get your hands on a cool looking and uniquely sounding guitar. However, some tweaks are necessary to make it shine.
Pros: solid build. Sturdy neck. Fretwork is good, which is extra important on such a small 12-string guitar. Zero fret really helps with intonation. Pups sound nice. Tuners ok, but need aome lubricant. Great bridge construction, except one fault (see below). The sound is quite exquisit - it jangles real nice, almost like a harpsichord.
Cons: As noted by others, the adjustment of the screw for one the G-strings is too long, making proper intonation very difficult. Following online advice, I had a luthier cut it, which quickly solved the issue. HB, take note and fix this, it will greatly improve the playability.
The plastic nut is not the best, so to upgrade, I had a luthier replace it with a bone nut, to get a natural lubricant effect.
After these adjustments and a set up, this guitar really shines!
So, for the price a great little instrument, but in need of some professional tinkering. to get the most out of it.

After seeing Ry Cooder playing slide on an old Vox 12 string mini guitar, I began a quest for one that I could afford, and Thomann, of course, provided the answer. It is a virtual double of an Eastman model, but for about a third of the price, and is visually striking and solidly built. I love the range of tones that the pickups provide and it gives me exactly the jangly slide sound that I was hoping for. Tricky to keep in tune when playing chords in regular tuning, due to the limitations of intonation on such a short scale, but perfect in open D or G.

The one downside is that the fret ends were so sharp and protruded so far that they could almost draw blood!
