The best bass for the price maybe?!

Got this as a birthday gift from my girlfriend, plays quite well right from the box. The packing was quite good. It has got a solid feel and it sits quite nice, surprisingly lightweight for the size. Its a bit sad that there is no switch for the 9V battery controlling the active pickups, but it seems like an easy mod after looking at the circuit. Will definitely recommend to a beginner bassist or an amateur guitarist who wants to track some bass parts themselves.
