They are good enough for the price and they look nice

OK, I can't be all five stars even though I have nothing to complain about.

I replaced some crappy Gotoh tuners made in Korea that came with my old Epiphone AJ28. When replacing the strings I saw that some, or really all, tuners were loose. Surprisingly, there was only about one mm of thread engagements and unsurprisingly they had broke.

So, given that, I was a bit hesitant to replace them with the same brand, but after carefully checking the spec, I saw that these wouldn't have the same problem, and they didn't.

In conclusion, these works fine, look good enough (I do like the look of the knobs) and could be installed without any problems.

Great quality from Gotoh

I bought these to change a set of standard tuners from a hollowbody with the screws at 45 degrees and with the tulip shaped turning keys. These days there are drop in options for most types. I have bought and used Gotoh locking tuners on at least 5 guitars and as usual the quality is second to none. As you would expect from a Japanese guitar product. Any Gotoh products I have used have all been really well made and have a nice chrome finish to them. Be careful when tightening the nuts to use the correct tool as the chrome finish can flake off a bit if you are not careful. Perhaps there is an argument that they are over priced for what they are but these are about a mid price range and to me are worth the extra for the quality you get. The saying you get what you pay for comes to mind. I am happy anyway and would recommend these to anyone.

feels very good when tuning, easy to use locking function, accuracy of the tuners is good enough for everyday use, they were a significant iprovement from the tuners that came stock with my guitar.

These locking tuners are the replacement for the original tuners on my schecter.
I wanted locking tuners for tuning stability, and Gotoh was the recomended brand, and delivered what was promised, excelent finish, and work whonderfully.
I'm very happy with them, and make changing strings that much easier too.
