Great tuners, horrible screws

The tuners are very good in terms of stability and the light weight is a huge advantage over my old crappy Harley Benton tuners (from the J-style bass guitar kit) but the screws are of extraordinarily bad quality and I broke three (!) of them, despite having pre-drilled the screw holes and only using a screwdriver with my hands to screw them in. With a price tag as brutal as this, you really shouldn't have to suffer from multiple breaking screws.
