Gold Tone AC-1 5 String Openback Banjo

Unlike most cheaper instruments Gold Tone has really put focus on the right things for this one.

Pros:
Properly set up out of the box, intonation flawless. Tuners are of great quality. Sounds great for what it is supposed to be. No frills when it comes to appearance, no fancy inlays etc.

Cons:
Nothing major but I would have liked an armrest. I had trouble finding one since it only has 16 brackets.

Conclusion:
Great quality, no frills banjo. Perfect as a starter banjo or as a secondary open back/ practice banjo. I would recommend this to any aspiring or experienced banjo player.
