I needed a replacement bridge for my fivestring that had similar measurements as the ibanez soundgear models.
I was lucky that i did not have to drill new screw holes so it seems to be some kind of standard measurements.
The weight of the bridge was reassuting enough but not so heavy that it would make a difference in the overall wight of my bass.
The bridge is nicely coated with glossy paint it feels very smooth. Nice for the right hand to rest on ant totally unobstructive. The ground wie made conductive contact without any modifications to the bridge.
I particularly wanted a bridge with adjustability of string height, string length and spacing. This bridge is very similar to peavey brigdes in the way the screws and saddles are attached. Some people may find that a little bit tricky but i was already used to it. It is a bit annoying though to fix the saddles in their exact spot when intonating the bass. Another design disadvantage is that when setting string height one also has to set string spacing since the whole bit is moving freely.
So there is a learning curve to avoid frustration when doing a setup.
There is enough room for adjustability and once everything is locked in place it stays there, no wiggly parts, no rattle, no dampening of string vibration - just like one solid piece.
String change is unproblemativ. The ball end of the strings hold nicely and securely in place. All in all i considered a good choice and a good value for the money.
