Gator Molded Dreadnought Case

I bought this case for a Dreadnought Martin DM, and the fit is perfect. I also have a similar looking case from a British brand that was delivered with a Furch guitar, and upon comparison the Gator case is not as good: When closing the lid the aluminum profiles don't match, they have to be helped in place before locking. The inner lining is a separate part from the outer housing, whereas the British case seems to have been made in one piece. The Gator case is therefore considerably softer and gives way if you put some weight on top of it. The Gator case is good enough for my daily use, but i would not trust it on tour.
