Excellent unit if it is what you need.

This thing was great. The plexi sound was nice and "woody" with that transparent "plexi" edge of break up. Very much Jake's Badlands sound. Channel two was JCM800ish, in that there was more gain on tap than and standard 800. I have a 2203 and Studio Classic for comparison.
Does it sound as good as a real plexi or JCM800? Perhaps not quite as good sonically as the real thing but practically better. With a plexi or JCM you will struggle with volume boosts. This has effortless volume boosts on both channels and would be great live. With the real amp you struggle with having to have the volume in the sweet spot for the sound but that may not be the volume required for the venue. Then you go down the route of attenuators for quieter or power amps for louder. This sounded great regardless of the volume.
I may sell a few pedals and amps and just have this. It is far more practical and sounds great.
