Foxgear Echosex Baby Delay

So in the hunt for analog delays I tried them all, but this one is not mentioned so often. Everyone seems to go with the MXR Carbon Copy or perhaps the Boss Waza delay, but this one is far superior AND cheaper. Don't let the price fool you.

You got a simple control for "age" which is your wow and flutter, modulation. And this sounds absolutely wonderful. While other delay pedals modulation makes you seasick, this one creates a wonderful depth. Likewise the tone knob lets you dial in the darkness or brightness of the repeats to sit perfectly behind your guitar tone. It does all from bright rockabilly slapback to long dark Gilmour delays. And it sounds much better than the carbon copy when going into self oscillation. Not a runaway distortion, but instead beautiful controlled singing. My pedalboard is about 3000 euros with several boutique pedals, and this one is a top 5 pedal. Amazing! If I lost it I would buy it again with no second thought.
