Crystal clear sound...I was wrong
After testing these for a month now I have noticed that the device has an issue with some Intel Core processors. In my case the interface doesn't work along with the 8th Gen i7.
I hear crackling and clicking sound from the audio interface and this is mutual even for people who listens to me.
Focusrite made a mistake by creating a 3rd Gen of a faulty device in the beginning. If 2 generations didn't solve, why would the 3rd do the trick then!? Apparently this 3rd Gen has the very same issue as the previous models. Focusrite says following; "There appears to be an issue particular to your Scarlett's ability to properly attach to any host system." - in other words this device isn't suitable to run through USB at all.
Huge disappointment. Wished the circumstances would have been different.

Har det viktigaste för hemmastudion. Mycket för pengarna!
Ett väldigt smidigt och välfungerande ljudkort.
Köpte det för att komma bort från mitt gamla Line6-ljudkort som i 2021 fortfarande hade drivrutiner från stenåldern och jag kan inte vara mer nöjd med uppgraderingen.
Har både XLR och teleingång och jag märker en klar förbättring av inspelningskvalitet jämfört med mitt gamla ljudkort. Framför allt så fungerar drivrutinerna mycket bättre och jag kan få ner latencyn rejält utan massor av klick och sprak när jag spelar in gitarr.
Som jag skrev i rubriken så har den det viktigaste för hemmastudion. Mycket ljudkort för pengarna!

Otroligt bra och billig
Enkel att använda och riktigt bra kvalitet. Blev nästan överraskad över ljudkvaliteten min mikrofon fick när jag först kopplade in den till denna.
Prisvänlig och kraftig, rekommenderar.
Det enda negativa jag kan tänka på om denna är Focusrites egna mjukvara, den kunde inte hitta mitt ljudkort.

Perfekt för hemmastudion. Spelar bara in gitarr och sång och då är det här helt tillräckligt. Suverän mick-förstärkare, lätt att koppla in och funkar bra med olika DAW:s. Rekommenderas.

Affordable audio interface for the beginner producer/musician
After playing violin for a few years I decided to get an electronic violin and start recording covers and produce songs on my free time.
This Scarlet solo was one of the highly reviewed interfaces I found when searching for a way to connect my violin to the computer. I chose this because it looks solid and simple enough for me that has only one instrument.
The knobs feel great to turn and are simple and few to get quickly into play and record mode. The body is medal and I'm not afraid it will break when bringing it with me while playing with friends.
I really like the direct-monitoring feature that allows me to "hear" the violin when practicing since I only have a small NUX amp that have terrible headphone audio.
If something I would say the lack of a level-meter for the input that is reduced to a green, yellow and red indicator is a bummer sometimes. Since I'm busy looking at the computer screen or notes while playing and don't notice the instrument peaking. However it can be combated setting the volume level while playing "hard" on the instrument and increasing the output volume instead.

Easy and Solid
Been using the Scarlett solo for a couple years now and it's been really good to me. Easy to setup with no issues. The only downside is that sometimes (very rarely) it creates background noise.

Klockrent ljudkort för att ha i väskan
Använder det här när man ska spela in ute på fältet. Spelar mest in sång eller akustisk gitarr i de fallen och det gör helt klart det det ska. Har inget att klaga på.

Everything is good but the latency
I bought this for my daughter to get her started in music production, she likes it but has had issues with having to set a bit too large buffer sizes at times and thus suffer from a bit of latency. Other than that though it has been great and sound quality is good, especially considering the price.
