Be careful!

Some components sticks out from the back and these can be easily damaged if your not very careful. On my Fender Strat body with pre-drilled spring claw screw holes and a Wilkinson VSVG tremolo (the best ever) with three springs mounted I couldn't get the Fishman in a good position - had to put in a fourth spring and back off the claw to get the Fishman in position. It's ridiculous that Fishman just didn't make it 2 millimeters thicker. If it fits your strat right out of the box it's a five star product.

Odd to "charge" your guitar but oh my.

Definitely worth the somewhat pricey bill, no need to mess about with batteries etc.

Good idea, needs improvments.

It is a very good idea for turning your strat into an active monster, but it needs some improvements, imho.

First of all, the micro USB socket should clearly be a USB-C socket at this point in time, and it absolutely should have a cover because, when you start sweating like crazy during a concert, sweat will get into the socket and start to corrode it, potentially leading to damage and even to shorts, which can be quite dangerous. Also, the electric cables of the unit are very, very thin; they could really use an upgrade because they are easily damaged.

Other than that, it really is a good idea and a useful tool, just not perfect yet.

Amazing solution

Great solution for when you don't have space for a 9v battery and dont want to drill new holes in your guitar body. Also nice that you don't have to worry about when the battery is going to run out anymore and can always just be sure to charge before a gig and it will all be good.

Super recomended.
