A very nice Fender neck with quality and "feel" way above the mexican necks. Especially love the matte finish on the back while the headstock is in beuatiful gloss. The fretboard is a nice piece of rosewood, but it had to be oiled immedietly. Afterward the color was dark and very nice. The frets are nicely inserted and dressed, but I´ll make some more polishing on them to get them 100%.
"Vintage tinted" necks can sometimes get too yellow - and that´s just a matter of taste. What I want to say is that the pictures on the Thomann website is very similar to what the looked like in real.
Be aware that you´ll need to drill a fourth mounting hole for a regular body and that it´s pre-drilled for Fenders "two-pin" tuners.
Why 5 stars? Needing a bit of fretboard oil and minor polishing is only minus 0,5. ;) Is a great craftmanship and very very nice to play!
