Greatest fender I've ever tried

So, the last year I've sent back a number of amps to thomann(tnx Thomas for the great service!), haven't found anything wich ticks all the boxes for me. This one is reaaalllly close though.
To start, this thing is so light and tiny. Doesn't take much space in the van or on stage. Its really loud though and packs a lot of punch. Takes pedals amazingly well, and the built in vibrato is to die for!!! As usual when it comes to fender, the reverb is great.
I also like the addition of the middleknob, this makes for a really usable eq. So this amp doesn't just hold a classic scooped fender sound , you can dial a lot of more modern sounds out of it.
The only downside to the amp, wich also is a great feature-is that it breaks up a bit early. But that also opens up the sound so when u find the golden spot it actually works with using digital reverb and delay anyway.
For me this amp is a keeper, I love it!!

I bought one of them because I wanted to play with a pair of Fender combos in paralell/stereo -it suits perfectly with my old Hot Rod Deluxe 'Bluesman'-. The 68 Custom Pro Reverb is a perfect pedal platform, excels at volume of 4-5, just when it is about to break up and sound crunchier -which is also a good option-. The crystal clearness of its tone is perfect to play some clean and creaky stuff and a convenient starting-point to start building up your own sound.

Reverb and tremolo systems sound amazingly, even when both are switched on at the same time. It is also light in weight, what will always be welcome for the ones that are on the road quite often, like me. In spite of its weight and power it can be cranked up at high levels, where it starts to develope crispier sounds

If you are a lover of the Fender sounding amplifiers and stuff, this unit is one you should defenitely try!

No , it does not sound as good as my old twin but it is close enough not to really matter to me... its all about the playing after all and its an amp I just dont have to even think about ..... well done Fender ! ..again..
This is mad loud for its size and weight ...If the hardware hold up over time then this will be a new classic

Superbe ampli

Ayant commandé cet ampli dès qu'il fut disponible, j'ai eu la chance de l'avoir avant qu'il ne soit plus en stock. Au passage, communication et services Thomann au top comme toujours. Donc voilà, ce Pro Reverb revisité dans un format offrant une meilleure portabilité tient ses promesses. Un son clair cristallin, vraiment magnifique, une reverbe et un tremolo très corrects pilotés par un footswitch vintage. Pas de fioritures, cet ampli est monocanal, parfait pour moi qui ne suis pas convaincu de l'utilité d'un canal drive sur un ampli Fender. Il prend très bien les pédales, même en stackant un BD2 et une TS9 le son reste bien défini . Une simple strat avec la reverbe suffisent à me transporter au paradis, grace à ce Pro Reverb qui pèse à peine 16kg. Cet ampli de 40w est suffisamment puissant pour jouer sur scène, tout en étant parfait pour une utilisation à la maison. Le potard de volume est très progressif. Rien à ajouter, ce 68 Custom Pro Reverb m'offre tout ce que j'attendais d'un ampli Fender, sans me casser le dos.
