Så Standard Casino har numera hals ansluten till kropp vid 16. bandet, som originalen till denna modell hade 1964, och inte vid den 19. bandet som tidigare 80- och 90-talsutgivningar.
Annars är allt perfekt, i mitt ex är dock stallmicken lite snett monterat, därför bara 4p för hantverkskvalitet. P90 mickarna låter så bra att jag har svårt att tro att märkbart bättre kan finnas i någon version. Jag misstänker också rätt starkt att kropp och hals är samma som i Inspired by John Lennon-modellen numera, det skiljer bara i elektronik och ev. annan metallvara.
Halsen är den bästa av alla 150 gitarrer jag spelat på sedan 1964.

I played this for a while now and I can't think of any problems, you get what you expect. Build quality is good on mine. As usual, I prefer to do a setup of neck relief and string height before I am completely happy, but there were no problems setting it up how I like it. I like the feeling of the pots, the tuners, the neck and the low weight. The only thing I didn't expect is that I prefer to use either the neck pickup or the bridge pickup, I don't use the middle position as much, it sounds a bit different and more similar to a humbucker. I would guess that the middle position is wired with both pickups in a hum-cancelling mode. I prefer to just run one pickup to get the proper clarity and chime. Oh, and I needed to tighten the output jack a bit.
