Very light but extremely playable

I got this set for use on a strat in standard tuning because I experience problems with wrist pain and it honestly saved that guitar for me. They're not only easier to bend but very comfortable in general and allow for a light touch with the left hand while they seem durable if played roughly with the right.

I was a bit worried about how they would sound compared to the .010 or .011 sets I'd used on the guitar before and yes - they do sound thinner and weaker. But you can pretty effectively compensate for this by altering your amp/eq settings. It still very much sounds like the same guitar and given the increase in playability I'd say my tone has gotten better overall since installing them.

I've had no problems with tuning stability but optimally I should probably get a new nut with smaller slots since there is a slight ringing noise when playing the top strings and some loss of sustain.

I will absolutely keep using these on any full scale guitars that I intend to keep in standard tuning.

Riktigt bra strängar! Håller stämmningen förvånansvärt bra för att vara så tunna. Extremt lättspelade och låter inte på något sätt tunt. Har haft ett sett på nu i ca 30 speltimmar och kan inte säga att de slitits på något sätt, eller tappat klang.

Slinky and easy to play 007 strings

If you like easy playing, have great precision in your fingers and want to bend high, these are for you. I´m used to 008 sets and these are much softer. If you go from 009 or higher you will probably think they are to soft, but try them. It´s fun to bend so easy. I thought they would sound thin but they don´t. I´ll keep them on one guitar as a complement.

Billy Gibbons special...

These are the favourite strings of Billy Gibbons. They are super thin, which takes a bit getting used to. Once (and if) you get the hang of it, you can bend like crazy without getting tired...
If you think that thinner strings give thinner sound... just use the eq of your amp to compensate. Noone thinks Billy G or BB King had "thin" sound...

Great set of strings! Using these really makes your fretboard feel like the smoothest thing on earth! And to me the "midrange" really cuts through a mix! They also stay in tune after "picking hard" for a couple of "re-tunings! Highly recommended!

Out of sheer curiosity I had to try theese and I was surprised how they feel. The strings bend so easily, even though I normally use nines, that they really takes some getting used to. After using them for a while they are quite nice, the downside is that it’s hard to shift to my other guitars with the usual nines. I put them on a PRS with 635 mm scale and I think they maybe would fit a Fender scale a bit better. They seem to hold up pretty well and I’ve had no issues with string break. The feel is hard to describe, you have to try for yourself.
