I haven?t found a better pick yet. I always use this pick for rythm and lead. Sometimes I might play the Green .88 mm pick or the yellow if I record two guitars panned left/right.
Other picks and pick thicknesses either get a little to stiff or to loose for my taste. I play mostly in E and Eb tuning.
I also have/have tried these Dunlop picks: Green pick .88 mm, Ultex .73 mm, .96 mm, 1.14 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, Jim Dunlop stubby 2.0 mm and the yellow pic which I cant read the thickness on since the print easily gets washed away on them.
Thicker picks are good for bass guitar like the Dunlop 500 2.0 mm. Some shredders prefer thicker picks then the pink Dunlop 500 .71 mm, but I don?t. The "Jim Dunlop Stubby 2.0 mm" is good for sweep picking though.
