Been slowly building my modular setup with this low cost case as the rack. It's got plenty room for smaller modules and have not noticed anything odd so far.
A power switch would be a nice addition, but it is included on the power-box itself which is very much a welcome feature.
Could definitely do with a coat of something to seal the wood, but that's left as a DIY option, and I like that.
It's bare-bone and raw. Just like intended.
And hey, maybe it's time for another one, soon. ;)
