DOCtron IMC-500

This thing sounds really good, and packs alot in a small form factor.

It basically offer 3 parts, all in stereo:

Compressor
Eq
Saturation/drive

Compared to other compressors it sounds great, and have owned Api 2500+, Tk audio Ssl style comp, Ssl comp, heritage audio succession.

The Eq also sounds very good, musical. Its obviously not very flexible, but it can add that last bass boost or cut, or adding some air that a sound or a final mix needs. I use other eq’s from SSL and Zähl, and I am very impressed by the quality of the IMC regarding the sound. But it’s probably the section I use the least.

The magic lies in using and combining all 3 parts, especially the comp. and the drive. I reccommend the IMC, it’s just a very nice device that offer alot, in a small form factor.
