It does what it's supposed to and does it well
My only issue is that the "OCT + DRY" setting sounds nearly identical to "OCT" setting. I assume it's 50/50 dry and octave but it sounds more like 75/25. I have it in the beginning of my chain and when it goes through the rest of the pedals it sounds like 100% octave and no dry signal. Though it is possible that my crappy amp just plain doesn't handle it well, I'm not an expert :P
I still think it's a great pedal nonetheless though! There is very little artifacting, makes it easy to switch between tunings or playing an octave lower akin to Jack White or Kevin Parker for example. It will stay on my board until I eventually get the DT Whammy for more functionality.

Fyller funktionen

The Drop for bass
I use it mainly to drop to Eb and D tunings (1 half-step - 1 step) and it does it's job pretty good. No problems to trigger the notes with acceptable latency. A slight change in tone character is inevitable, I suppose, but it's not off-pitch like the drop effect in the Zoom B3N. Good enough to leave the 5-string at home.

Amazing concept but tone is affected
I play a lot through headphones, so I rarely hear the acoustic sound of the guitar. If you're playing in your bedroom with an amp, you will clearly hear the shifted output AND the guitar, so beware. Also, the tone is affected. There is a bit more distortion/gain, but if you are using this to play metal you just have to dial it down. If you play clean, you'll have to settle with the extra distortion
