Good compromise
Good entry point for experimenting with flats. Brighter than most, can do most round wound sounds pretty well.
Wonderful soft and slick feel. Nice and snappy attacks for flats. But weirdly uneven tension across the set. The 3rd is like a suspension bridge cable compared to the rest. Not well balanced, but beautiful sound. I moved on to mellowe and more even tensioned thomastiks though.
