Bra attenuator
Använder denna för att tämja en Marshall SV20.
Fungerar riktigt bra för att kunna lira med en rörförstärkare på låg volym. Man tappar eventuellt lite i ton. Svårt att säga då volymen påverkar hur man uppfattar ljud. Ingenting som inte går att kompensera med EQn på förstärkaren och ljudet blir med många förstärkare så mycket bättre när rören får jobba lite.
Enke att koppla in. Glöm inte att handla extra högtalarkabel.

Priceworthy power soak with a catch
This power soak is able to take my loud 50w Supro to whisper quiet volume while sounding decently true to the tone (not taking into account the change in sound of running the speakers at a quieter volume). So for the price it is excellent for home practice with a tube amp.
However, my planned use for this power soak was to tame my Supro so I could get it to distort at a volume that works when rehersing/gigging with my band. For this purpose the Bugera PS1 did not work. Even at the loudest setting it removes too much volume for me to be able to match the drums and other amps. This would be fine if it was stated in the description of the power soak but the only place I found this information was in the owners manual, where it is stated that "Even with the SOAK control turned up to 100 (full clockwise) the effective power at the speaker will be about half of the amplifier output power."

Sovrumsvolym
Använder denna till en Blues Deluxe, 40 W och kan vrida upp volymen till dist och ändå lira på sovrumsvolym.
Skulle dock inte göra det med en förstärkare större än 50w även om det står att produkten klarar 100w.
Funkar bra mycket bra för priset och jag är helnöjd. Även det finns liknande produkter som fungerar bättre så ligger dem inte i närheten av det här priset och ljudet blir fortfarande bra. Eventuellt får man tweeka lite för och kompensera lite treble-förlust.

Använder med Marshall Origin 20 top till en 2x12 med Greenbacks från Palmer. Marshallen är alldeles för högljudd för sovrumsspelande även om man ställer in den inbyggda Powerstemfunktionen på low, så den här kommer in alldeles utmärkt då. Tycker inte den gör allt för stor påverkar på ljudet, men visst kör man Marshallen på High output och maxar volymen för att få dist så måste man ju maxa Bugeran oxå och då påverkar det ljudet negativt, men kör man på mid output så behöver man ju inte dra på Bugeran så hårt och då tycker jag den gör sitt jobb väldigt bra med bibehållen ljudkvalite. Har aldrig varit med om att den blir varm som en del skrivit om när man googlar recensioner.

Tame your tube amp
Great for pushing your tube amp into sweet saturation without loosing your hearing or getting divorced.
Seems to muddy up the sound when the amp overdrives fully, also some loss in the high end. Both easy to fix with eq and volume control of the amp.
I manage to get my SV20H to sound just about the same as without attenuation with some tweaks.
Highly recommend it!

Does its job OK
I have used it on my Peavey 6505 1x12 combo 60w amp and I think it is a good product. It can make the amp less loud than the actual strummed guitar strings. However I feel like the amp has less bite and aggressive sound when using the Bugera PS1 Power Soak compared to without.
If u do not want a small practice amp and want to use ur powerfull amp in your bedroom or apartment this is a good choice!

Great for the price
Really good for the price, if you want an upgrade with more features the Torpedo Captor X or normal version are really good aswell.

Cheap but does the job done
Noticed a bit of tone loss, but you can still bring that back with some eq tweaking. As said, cheap and works, if you dont want to start a war with neighborns and you are on the budget then this is for you
