Behringer UM300

You know what you get when you buy a Behringer pedal; a plastic box that kind of creaks when you step on it, but it does the job. No exception here. I have had this for quite a while, and used it both as a source of distortion and as a gain booster. It does creak, and it does do the job. However, it also has a tendency to color the sound in a certain way; it adds a bit of high mids that I can't seem to dial out. In my quest for the ultimate metal guitar tone, this pedal was therefore only briefly in my arsenal.
