Brumproblem löst! Yay!
En liten, billig och passiv dosa från Behringer - kan det verkligen lösa ett brumproblem? Ja, faktiskt!
I ett rum har jag min förstärkare och ett annat rum fungerar som kontrollrum. Kör jag en ljudkabel mellan dessa rum uppstår brum, vilket också hände när jag körde en kabel från en DI in i en stagebox och vidare in i angränsande kontrollrum. Kopplar jag istället en kabel från DI:n in i HD400:n och sedan vidare in i stageboxen så försvinner brummet helt! Så, ja, den fungerar utmärkt. Planerar att köpa fler och preparera alla kopplingar mellan alla rum i studion.
Vad jag vet finns inte HD400 i större utförande som t ex 8 in 8 ut, vilket hade varit intressant i mitt fall men man kan ju alltid köpa fler och på det sättet kan de sättas där de behövs och flyttas runt vid behov.
Har man brum rekommenderar jag att man köper en (1) och testar om det räcker innan man köper typ 48 stycken direkt. Brum kan ju ha många mystiska orsaker och det är kanske inte helt säkert att HD400 löser just ditt problem, även om det är högst troligt.

Gör vad den ska
Tog hand om GPU-ljuden jag hörde i mina monitorer när de var kopplade till datorn (via mitt RME-kort). Kunde tidigare inte ens scrolla utan att störas av oljud, men efter att ha pluggat in den här mellan monitorerna och ljudkortet är det knäpptyst. Väl investerade pengar.

Solved the hum issue
I run two similar guitar amps (Roland GC408) in stereo. When connecting both amps to the same stereo reverb the amps start humming because of a ground loop. This is quite common and it appears when the amps are grounded in the electrical outlets AND connected with guitar cables to the same guitar effect. A vagabonding current will flow through the guitar cables from one amp to the other, causing the hum.
I put the HD400 in between the reverb outputs and the inputs of the amps using four short guitar cables and the hum disappeared completely.
The HD400 blocks the vagabonding current but still allows the guitar signal to pass to the amps, and the hum disappears. It really works and i can hear no difference in the guitar sound, it passes unaffected.
If you have trouble with hum from single coil guitar pickups this product is NOT the solution to your problems, HD400 is just made to stop ground loops.
The box feels sturdy enough and it needs no battery or external power, a very good product.

Does a good job!
I needed something to eliminate the hum-noise from my Deepmind12D so I got the HD400 hum destroyer. This little box really works great to get a noise/hum free connection! I promise you will be happy with this product!

Mycket bra!
Gör precis vad som förväntas, tog bort groundloop utan problem. Kompakt, känns relativt hållbar och tar lite plats.

Does what it says it does.
You plug it in and it eliminates hum, there's not a lot else to it. It's small and fits just about anywhere, I put double sided tape on mine and just stuck it to the side of my rack. Probably the easiest solution I've had to an audio related problem ever. It does what it says on the box.

It Works
Using it with my guitar Rigg "Engl E570 Engl power amp and AX8 in 4cm"
I experimented with different configurations, balanced to unbalanced cables and vice versa and I am very happy with the results. I can hear a tiny reduction in brightness but that's an easy fix, I just dial it up on the preamp to compensate for the "loss"
The hum is reduced SIGNIFICANTLY when I play high gain.

Har länge haft problem med brum i mina Yamaha NS-10. Med denna lilla dosan försvann det!
