MYCKET PRISVÄRD!
Arizona River Band 10.11.2021
HELNÖJD med mina två monitorer on stage.

Behringer F1220D Eurolive Active 2-Way Floor Monitor
Alex.Kovach 20.05.2019
Awsome monitor! Super affordable price. Ultra compact! Its lightweight. It has built in great limiter, so your monitor is guarded against overloading and against unwanted signal distortion. It has ultra easy to use user interface. All connections and controls are located on front pannel - everything is at your eye and easy to reach! There are 3 great EQ controls, 2 levels one for MIC and the second one for LINE, and a manual feedback filter control which is easy to adjust in a few seconds (a must have feature). You can connect one microphone (XLR) + one line signal (XLR) and you've got one line out XLR for connecting more monitors for example. The monitor features 12" speaker and 3" HF speaker. The design of the monitor is great for both applications floor and on speaker stand.
I use Behringer F1220D both live and at rehersals.
Many thanks for such a good equipment.
I definitely recommend Behringer F1220D.

Don't buy Behringer... Why not?
prea 08.01.2020
The most convenient wedges. No competitor at this price.
Perfect for rehearsal/smallish venues.
Perhaps a little colouring in the mids, with some use the woofer will "mature". Amply satisfied, another proof that Beringer deserves more attention... what once were cheap products now seems to be excellent cheap products.

Extremely lightweight and powerful: I was not able to find any frequency response curve, and tested rather rudimentarily with a SPL meter: 45 Hz to 19000 for sure!
By the way, they're driven by a Behringer Xenyx q1202 USB.
Who said "don't buy Behringer"? ;)

UPDATE: after 6 months, the bass repsonse got a tad more deep. So far, so good. Using for rehearsal with main volume at 2, and the filter is perfect to eliminate any resonance in the room.

UPDATE: after three years, wedge #2 left us: as already known for this product, it stops after 10-15 minutes: thermal protection. Well, I'm looking to replace the whole innards, case and speakers cannot be wasted!
And, still: cheap and did (sadly, did) their job. Honest.

BOUGHT AS FRFR HOME USE. Compared to Subzero 10" 200Watt
Vangelo51 14.02.2026
I compared this with the 10" SUBZERO to play my guitar looper rig through. I needed shallow cabinet to fit under coffee table.
Immediate impression was the Behringer was cleaner. This uses a pair of Class D amps, actively driving the woofer & tweeter separately, so no crossover. The Subzero uses a single Class AB amp which takes up a lot of room inside: ie, huge toroidal heavy transformer linear power supply with huge heatsink + crossover board. Seems well made, but wires everywhere and electronics share compartment with speakers. I would be concerned about overheating as only way heat can escape is through reflex port.
The F1220D is a sealed unit, 12" woofer vs 10" reflex port system. Tweeters are the same. The amp is housed in its own narrow compartment, totally isolated from speaker vibrations and with its own cooling slots. The amp is easily removed with 2 screws and unclipped from the wires. Easy to send off for repair.
It has been criticised for lacking bass. I did a sweep and it cuts off & 45hz sharply. I think the amp is designed to limit bass signals. This helps with overload and maintaining volume. 45hz is good enough. Boosting bass causes boom & cabinet resonance which I fixed with internal bitumen pads + felt acoustic tiles + 1" foam lining. Sound now really clean & detailed with reduced resonances. Bass gives a nice tight percussive thump.
Volume seems more than adequate for my application. Easily reaches 106db SPL with no clipping. I haven't pushed more as 106db plenty loud!
I wanted to do more comparative testing between the 2 units, but the Subzero packed up when I plugged the XLR lead in.....just gives a loud hum now. Week old.....will return as faulty.
What can I criticise about the F1220D? Maybe the cosmetics of the carpet which seems dented in a few areas. I was hoping to receive the painted version :( The woofer is hard to remove. They had a job cramming the 12" + 3" tweeter in the available space, so 2 of the retaining screws are recessed & hard to reach. The woofer seems like a quality unit, although the suspension is very stiff, unlike the Subzero 10" which has a rubber surround, so theoretically should go deeper. Still, prefer sound of Behringer!
Highly recommended as FRFR!
