This fresnel attachment is made with a rigid plastic housing, metal internal components, and fairly heavy glass. It is well constructed and feels solid and durable, and is not too heavy. The light pattern coming out of the fresnel is nicely shaped and fades well from center to perimeter. The padded case is a nice feature and is durable and well-made. I was hoping the fresnel would focus the light a bit tighter, but apparently the 12 degree end of the range is not all that tight. For the low price this is a nice fresnel attachment and definitely worth the price.
