Amphenol ACPS-RN

Bought these to make some quality RST angled jacks and cable for some synths pressed up against the wall.

Like most housing you need to but part of it on the cable first before soldering; yeah that is self explanatory but I have done it a few times, I blame that it was late and I was tired...

Pretty easy to soldering as long as you don't use too thick a cable.

You can secure the cable very good with the clamping and serrated part. Using the plastic tubing that comes with it might impair that as it is clear plastic and if you don't cut a bit of will cover the clamping part. A rubber-like cable will have a better grip so I advise cutting a bit off the plastic protection rather than skipping on it or using it as it is.

You can make some really quality cables for not much money at all with Amphenol jacks and good cable.
