Everything it's supposed to be

I was looking for a powerful light for video but couldn't justify the expense of an Aputure. Nor did I need an Aputure really as the lamp is being used in a static location pretty much so the slightly lower build quality and lack of carrying case were not of particular concern.
Easy to set up, bright, quiet enough. On 100% you can hear fan noise but not to a level that would concern me and I'm unlikely to be using it at 100% much. Easy to fit a soft box on the front - metal where metal is important, on/off switch and brightness dial solid. And the power cable is good and long. So good.
Overall, extremely pleased. My first Amaran purchase. It won't be the last I think!
