Could have been better
These headphones do sound good, but not great. I expected more from AKG with these and despite reading all the reviews before I wanted to be sure they wouldn't be as bad as people say, but apparently they are.
Zero bass in the lower frequencies. Very dull with that part, tbh.
When it comes to comfort they are great though. Feels solid over the ears and soft. My head doesn't get tired of wearing these as with the previous headphones I had which weight less but almost crushed my skull due to their design.
If you are looking for headphones with bass I would suggest you to search for Pioneer HDJ-X series. Unfortunately Thomann aren't capable of selling Pioneer products, but if you find them online then go for it.
These, AKG K-240 MKII, are good for those who look for plain sound with no bass and clear treble, and which sits good on their head.

Things change
I guess brands change over time. I've had a pair of AKG headphones for almost fifteen years and have been very satisfied with them. They're starting to become a bit worn out so I bought these as a replacement/backup. They look and the fit is the same, but the sound and quality doesn't come close to the old ones. My old pair says "Made in Austria", but my new AKG's (by Harman) doesn't.
