This mic isn't magic, but it's a great tool for your studio!

I bought this mic a couple of years ago du to the fact that I needed a trusty microphone for live bass and kick drum so I bought the D112. I wanted to try something else than the standardised B52 or D6 and I can honestly say I'm more than pleased with my purchase. I've tracked dozens of instruments using the D112 and it's still a go-to mic for me. If you're interested in a versatile and honest microphone for recording live bass or kick drum then this is a good choice in my opinion.
