Yamaha Mouthpiece Trumpet 11A4

The quality of this mouthpiece is solid, in fact I feel this is true for all Yamaha mouthpieces. For me it is very comfortable with a good sized rim.

It has a nice, light and expressive sound and is really responsive, so much so that I was surprised; it almost speaks. I must admit I originally bought it in order to make the high range easier, and to some extent it might have helped at the beginning, but I have relatively large lips and am used to larger mouthpieces, so all in all, with practise I can reach the same high notes or higher on the deeper, larger mouthpieces I usually use. The Yamaha has, of course, a different, more silvery, merrier tone than my usual pieces.

All in all, I feel this is a product of high qualiy.
In the right hands, it could be a really responsive, beautiful mouthpiece. I would recommend it.
