Yamaha BKS-2 Knee Rest

Really hard to rate this product fairly. It?s very expensive and the method of attaching it to the frame seems a bit amateur, as if the knee rest was an afterthought: three screws that grip only the edge of one end of the knee rest rather than go firmly through it. Seems okay so far but can?t help feeling that a modest bump in the wrong direction and it will simply fall off. Take a screwdriver to the gig!
That said, if you play sitting down you will have to buy this accessory as there?s no comfortable way of supporting the SLB 200 without it. So in that sense it?s brilliant!

Easy to mount.
Confortable to play with it. I play my silent bass seated in common chairs, after cut the end pin to play seated at low heights. It makes me more confortable to play seated on regular height chairs.

Quite confortable while playing. Good feeling to "wear" the intrument. Nice feeling when playing.

I'm quite skeptical about those few 3 screws holding this structure which hold some pressure. I feel it'll collapse. Constantly thinking about use some large washers on screws to make it more stable and safe.
