They feel like they've slightly less weight in the top third than the earlier non-evo version giving slightly less power but to me they feel a bit quicker. I like the balance but the teardrop tip doesn't give the same definition on the cymbals as the barrel. I've been switching between these and the non-evo version; can't say which I prefer but both are quality sticks.

This sticks were so good before Zildjian adquired the brand... Now they are so fragile, one of them broke on the first rehearsal I took them, and it broke from the inside it was not even noticeable on the outside...

Before I got my own custom sticks, I used these for years, and still do on occasion. Best sticks for a variety of styles.

Best drum sticks if you prefer 5A and teardrop tips. Strong and durable as well.
