Vandoren V21 Alto Saxophone 3.0

For me personally, the reed at first sounded a bit dull and weird, but after short break-in period - voila! the reed is kicking butts!! You can achieve really good control and articulation is perfect with it. For my mpc a quarter strenght between 2.5 and 3.0 would be pure perfection!

Huge improvement over the blue box traditional, works incredibly well for classical playing but gives a good response over all styles. Generally a lot more consistent than other brands of reed, however still find a couple in each box that are far too hard or soft.
