Vandoren Classic Blue Baritone Sax 3.0

as always from Vandoren, this reed is very effective. Bari sax is not always the easiest to work with but this reed will certainly make it considerably easier. I play baritone in many semi-professional ensembles and this reed is ALWAYS my first choice. The thing about any Vandoren reed that I love, is the consistency - 99% of the time they come out of the packet and can be played straight away with no need for any shaving or filing. RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE!

Seems fine, sounds nice, plays well. But I have no comparison.

I've played these for years, and I find them a bit restrained, but if I need to chose the safest reed that I'd depend on for THE gig, I'd go with these. They won't disappoint, they're the defining standard for quality, and even the bad ones are perfectly workable. The good ones are great, the bad one works
