Not what they used to be
I've been using Uo-Chikyu nut files for about 30 years and decided to get a replacement set. These new ones are very poor quality files. The hardness of the steel used is no where near dense enough and they blunt after about half a dozen uses on bone and plastic. With the older files, once the tip eventually (after years of use) blunted, you could snap it off with a pliers and carry on with the next section of file. These new ones are so soft you can bend, fold and twist them and snapping off the end is impossible. Not file grade steel and not to be recommended, in my view.
