Thomastik Dominant 141 Viola medium

I am using these strings with my Yamaha VA5 viola and I?m happy with this product - these made my viola sound bright and clear. The tone of these strings is very bright, vivid and clear.
Since my viola is a new one and has not yet played in much the tone is a bit harsh and these strings amplify the harshness of the tone but I don?t mind it since it is honest and makes me work more on my playing to balance out the tone.
Very good quality strings. I recommend!

I use these Dominants on a Luis & Clark carbon fibre viola. The improvement in sound and ease of play is remarkable. It is not easy to find and set up suitable strings on carbon fibre, but these are the best I've tried, and the viola a once again a pleasure to play. The strings do take a few days before they stop losing pitch, but well worth the wait!
