Too hard for cymbal swells
Bought these for doing effects on the drumset. They're quite difficult to do good swells with because they are so hard, probably better for other perc instruments

Simply a fine mallet
A mallet with many uses, including for different drums, singing bowls, wooden xylophone, tongue drum etc. Certainly a good thing to have to vary the sound of different instruments from the sound produced by other beaters and mallets. Very affordable!
