Bra mikrofon, sämre hållare.
Jag skaffade den här mikrofonen för tre och ett halvt år sedan, och den är fortfarande suverän!
Den känns gedigen, ligger tung i handen och alla synliga delar i aluminium eller annan metall.
Jag har andra mikrofoner, men de flesta är i samma prisklass som den här men ändå tycker jag att SC400:an har en väldigt klar och användbar ljudbild.
Jag har använt den för att spela in en mängd radio, men även för att spela in ljudeffekter, gitarrer och sång. Många av dessa inspelningar används dessutom utan någon brusreducering eller annan hantering mer än en kompressor för att hantera volymen.
Själva inspelningen känns ganska neutral, jag är ingen expert på ämnet men jag har åtminstone möjligheten att via EQ modifiera ljudet för olika ändamål utan att det låter knasigt efteråt. Om EQ är helt plan så får man ett ganska platt och tråkigt ljud, vilket man skall förvänta sig i min mening.
Det enda negativa med den här mikrofonen är tyvärr att hållaren man får med efter två år tyvärr gått sönder, Det är skruven för att reglera lutningen på hållaren som pajat och således blivit helt lealös.
I mitt fall går den ändå att använda i och med att jag monteras mikrofonen på ett sätt där jag inte behöver nyttja lutningen, dock är det ett problem om man skall montera mikrofonen på ett vanligt mikrofonstativ. Än värre blir det i och med att mikrofonen inte går att montera alls utan den medföljande hållaren, och en extrahållare verkar inte vara helt lätt att få tag på.
Allt som allt är jag mycket nöjd med mikrofonen, och snart tre år senare är det fortfarande min primära mikrofon. Sedan jag köpte den här har jag även skaffat mig ett par andra sekundära stormembransmikrofoner i prisklassen 300-600 kronor så jag kan tyvärr inte jämföra med dyrare varianter.
Sett till priset är det dock ett kap. Det enda som drar ner betyget är som sagt hållaren.

Good decent studio condenser for the money!
1: A really decent supercardiod that have a damped
back-end sensitivity and focused front end which is
good as its further reduces backrom sounds.
2: Overall build and performance will give other
mic's of same type hat cost 2 to 3 times more
a real run for its money!
3: Quality metal Shock mount included.
4: Good upper end specs :
Self noise 18db,
S/N ratio 87db,
SPL [dB SPL @ 1% THD] 132db,
Field sensitivity -32.6.
5: Nice heavy solid construction.
6: A studio recording/broadcast mic that needs a
quality preamp to give its low self noise and S/N
justice.
7: Works well on majority of acoustics with
a warm clear tonality to it but as with all
condensers dont vocally pop them always
use a pop screen and always properly
distance as condensers works best then.
8: SC400 uses same electronics as e.g Nady SCM 800
CAD GXL2200, CAD GXL2400, Apex 435 etc

Great sound quality for it's price
I use this microphone for voice chatting and it absolutely blew me away.
When the gain is cranked up a bit you can very clearly hear all the dynamics of the room and with a lower gain and the microphone closer to your face, you get a very smooth and pleasant audio.
For the price I can't recommend this enough!

Mer än bra!
Det här var inte vad jag hade förväntat mig i den prisklassen!!! Det här var bara super. Micken duger till precis allt jag behöver i studion. Distinkt fint ljud. Något negativt är däremot mickhållaren, som drar ner betyget, MEN har inget med mickens prestanda att göra. Den är SUPER!!!

Bang for the buck!
Need a cheap studio condenser mic?
Look no further! The t.bone SC 400 is probably the cheapest one you can find and the quality is actually really good.
The sound is crystal clear and if you turn up the gain while recording then it is super sensitive. You can record the faintest sounds if you want to. Therefore the mic comes with a shock mount to stabilize it and avoid vibrations that would otherwise mess up your recording.
Since it is so sensitive I would recommend that you invest in some kind of acoustic screening for your room because this mic will really show how bad your room acoustics are. If your room is quite empty and filled with hard surfaces then you will get a reverb effect while recording.

The best cheap microphone I've listened to
This is a great microphone. If you want to start streaming or content creating or even singing. This is a great mic for the price. I have it hooked up to my Sound Blaster AE-9 soundcard and it sounds amazing. Recommended to people on a budget.

Perfekt för akustisk inspelning
Använt den till att spela in akustisk gitarr och den ger ett riktigt bra ljud och en bra ton. Ska bli intressant att testa den till sång.

It has served me well for the last four years.
I bought these along whith some other equipment for my podcast. Four years later these two microphones are the only pieces of equipment still in use. I don't think you can get a better microphone at this price point. Affordable, yet with a solid metal construction and they sound fantastic if you know what you're doing.
The only downside of this microphone is the included shock mount. The hinges that let you position the microphone gets loose after a while and it just sort of hangs there. But it is easy enough to just buy a new shock mount. (Or super glue the hinge in the position you want it as I did)
