The clip seems sturdy and fits the drum shells I tried it on and holds the microphone well.

There isn't anything to acoustically separate the drum from the clip, but the mic itself is mounted on rubber so there is a little protection from contact noise.

A note on the microphone when used in this context: the mic looks very exposed to being hit and broken, so keep away from careless drummers/percussionists.

Really good clip on snare/Tom of the drums. Also possible to use for DPA Vote 4099

IF your buy a OVID system for drum set
Just buy this

all you need to know is it works, but you're far better of getting the universal mount instead.

This is very good , you got the mic out of the way for the sticks .
