Needs way too much gain

I was not able to use this due to the enormous amounts of gain needed to get anything recorded with this. In Windows while using USB I had gain in Windows set to 100%, and while my voice was not garbled or distorted, it was way too low volume to be audible if I was more than 1-2cm away from the microphone itself.

This could possibly be remedied by using an additional preamp to increase gain, but for anyone looking for a simpler setup I would recommend to get a microphone with integrated gain control, or just overall better base gain.
