Bought a roll of this in blue to identify my own cables against those in venues I work and I couldn't be happier with it.

It's flexible and pretty tough. I'm sure there's better cables out there, but for the price it's brilliant. I'm just as happy using the cables I made up (with Amphenol XLR connectors) as I am using the Van Damme tour cables I use with work.

Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
