Best pedal I used

This pedal is spot on. It's built for both RAT-lovers and RAT-sceptics. But it's not a "transparent" overdrive, so cork sniffers beware! The turbo mode is so beautiful, a tad more polished than the classic mode but with a lot of energy and dynamics. I haven't used any pedal for distortion for a long while (just the amp gain) but this pedal is now a must on my pedal board. I use it as always on, turbo mode, low gain, low filter pushing a crunchy amp sound. A lovely heavy but clear tone, lifting the guitar sound in a band context. You could also get real nasty, trashy sounds out of it, in RAT territory.

Rats in a smaller box

I have both the Rat and the Turbo Rat and this pedal does them both incredibly well but in a much smaller compact box. I don't know the build quality since behringer took over but it feels solid and only time will tell, although I have had it approx 2 years now without problems.

A good pedal but not what it is compared to.

This pedal is "advertised" as a RAT copy/clone. I bought one so that I could have that RAT sound with the addition of the options on the switch. However, after placing it on my board and comparing against my own RAT with a pedal switcher, it was clear that they are not the same. Whilst we are in the same ballpark, the EQ is not the same and it didn't have the same "chewy crunchiness" that the RAT had.
However, if you are not specifically looking for a RAT clone/replacement, then this may work for you. It starts with a crunchy overdrive and goes up to silicon fuzz. The modes are good and it gives you a good boost capability that the original RAT does not have.

Flexible and affordable Rat clone

I wanted a Rat pedal for some time and was plowing through some different options. I chose the Magus pro mainly for the additional two modes and affordability. Also in classic mode the gain knob seems to work a bit better in the lower gain area, so you can quite easily get some lower gain drive sounds. SO yeah, quite a lot of flexibility in this small pedal!
We also tested it with my friend's Behringer TD3, which is a 303 clone and it sounded awesome! So now he wants to get this pedal too.
