The noise master!

Physically there is nothing wrong with this pedal.
It is solid and sturdy. I love the big nobs.
The sound is good, and it comes very close to my old Boss DF1, but still have a little darker sound to it.
BUT, the big problem here is the noise. I don't know if it is just me who have been unlucky to get the one pedal that make noise, or they all do it. I don't have a noise filter yet in my chain, that might help. But when I turn it on it buzz like crazy, like nothing I ever heard before, and so loud. I have two other pedals from TC from the same series, and they make no noise at all. And I have two other distortion pedals who does not make any noise. So I take away two stars because off the noise.

Well worth the price

Metal on strat 06.12.2021

Superb material quality; metal casing and sturdy buttons. The sound through my Hughes & Kettner GM 40 did not impress, but for the price, there's nothing to complain about! Works well for rock and roll sounds through the clean and crunch-channel.

Growl and bite pedal

Perfect for that classic rock and vintage heavy metal sound. All of the pedals in this series from TC Electronics seems to have it's own specific use, but they are really good at that. I've bought a couple of the other ones as well, and will buy more of them. This pedal definently brings the crunch.

Ich habe dieses Distortion Pedal im Black Friday Sale für knappe 20€ erworben -
Diesen Preis ist es allemal wert.
Leider bringt das Pedal recht schrille Höhen mit sich. Wenn man aber behutsam mit dem Tone-Regler umgeht kann man einen brauchbaren Sound erzielen.
Getestet an einem Vox 2x12" Modeling Amp.

Ich habe das Pedal auch an Synthesizern ausprobiert, da macht es sich recht gut, vorausgesetzt man mag stark verzerrte/schreiende Basslines.

Alles in allem kein Fehlkauf.
