The Grand Auditorium is Taylor's most versatile body shape and is equally suitable for a wide range of playing techniques. The 814Ce also features Taylor’s V-Class bracing, which results in higher volume, longer sustain and improved intonation. The 3.5 mil thin finish ensures optimized vibration behavior. Back and sides made of rosewood give the guitar powerful bass and brilliance in the highs with a slight emphasis on the upper mids. Taylor's own active ES2 dynamic piezo system with bass, middle and treble controls makes up the pickup.
